Heading back to university is an exciting time, but it can also be stressful. Between moving into new accommodation, sorting through your belongings, and balancing life between home and campus, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s where SOS Storage in Kingskerswell can make a real difference.
Why students need storage
Many students face the same problem every year: too much stuff and not enough space. Parents’ homes quickly become crowded, and small student flats or shared houses don’t always have the room for furniture, sports gear, or even extra clothes. Trying to move everything back and forth between terms can also be exhausting.
Instead of cramming everything into already full spaces, secure local container storage offers a simple, affordable solution.
Affordable and flexible student storage
At SOS Storage, we provide watertight shipping containers that are ideal for student storage. From books, clothes and furniture to bikes and sports equipment, you’ll have a safe place to keep the things you don’t need every day.
Units from just £96 a month – perfect for student budgets (see our pricing page)
Short or long-term hire – whether you need space for a few weeks or the whole academic year
Convenient location – just off the Devon Expressway for easy access from Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and across South Devon
Security you can trust
Your belongings are important, and we take security seriously. Our site is protected with:
24/7 CCTV monitoring
Palisade fencing and razor wire
Secure gated access
Strong, weatherproof containers
That means you can head back to uni knowing your items are safe until you need them. Find out more about our site security.
Stress-free start to the year
Starting a new term should be exciting, not stressful. By storing the items you don’t need every day, you’ll have more space, less clutter, and an easier move-in process. Whether you’re between rentals, living at home part-time, or simply need extra room, storage gives you the flexibility to focus on your studies and social life without worrying about your stuff.
Student storage in South Devon made simple
