Student Storage in South Devon – Home for the Summer? We’ve Got You Covered
The end of term is always a busy time. Exams are finished, halls are closing, and suddenly you’re faced with the question: what do I do with all my stuff over the summer?
For students returning home to Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham or anywhere in South Devon, the thought of cramming boxes of books, clothes, and furniture back into your parents’ house isn’t appealing. That’s where student storage with SOS Storage makes life a whole lot easier.
The challenge students face
Most student rentals don’t cover the summer months, which means you can’t leave your belongings in your flat or shared house. Taking everything home isn’t always practical — especially if you’ve got furniture, a bike, or bulky items that don’t fit easily in the car. Parents’ homes are often already full, and moving everything back and forth each year can be exhausting.
Why student storage works
Instead of lugging everything home, you can store it locally in a secure, watertight container until the new term begins. At SOS Storage in Kingskerswell, we offer smaller, affordable containers that are perfect for students who just need temporary space. From a few boxes and a suitcase to larger items like desks, shelves or bikes, you can keep it all safe and out of the way for as long as you need.
Safe, secure and affordable
We know your belongings are important, which is why our site is fully protected with:
24/7 CCTV monitoring
Palisade fencing and razor wire
Secure gated access
Watertight containers to protect from damp and weather
And with smaller units starting from just £96 a month, it’s an affordable way to store everything until you’re ready to move back in.
Convenient location for South Devon students
Our storage facility in Kingskerswell is just off the Devon Expressway, making it easy to drop off belongings before heading home for the summer. We’re close to Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and the wider Torbay area, so whether you’re studying locally or away at university and coming back for the break, SOS Storage is nearby when you need it.
